15-Year-Old Student in Custody in Connection with Threat at Willard High School

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says a teenager is in custody for allegedly making a threat towards students at Willard High School.

School officials contacted deputies on February 20 to report the threat, saying it came from a fellow student.

Following the report, the Sheriff’s Office’s SWAT unit and area detectives executed a search warrant on the suspects residence.

The identity of the suspect has not been released, due to the person of interest being 15-years-old.

Prosecutors have not filed charges yet, but the student is being held at the Greene County Juvenile Detention Center on probable cause.
