Another Earthquake Hits the Midwest

For the 15th time this month, there’s been an earthquake in Wichita.

Wednesday morning’s quake hit at 5:04 a.m. and registered at 3.8 in magnitude, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The epicenter was at 13th and Rock Road near the Wichita Country Club.

Of the 15 quakes to hit the Wichita metro area in December, this was the strongest one, just above a 3.7 magnitude quake on December 19th.

Scientists have called the recent string of earthquakes natural events, unrelated to the oil industry.
