Shall the Board of Education of the Clever R-V School District, Missouri, without an estimated increase in the current debt service property tax levy, borrow money in the amount of Two Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,600,000) for the purpose of providing funds to make safety and security upgrades including, but not limited to, entry control, cameras, and intercom improvements; to complete the site development, construction, equipping and furnishing of a new activity field house to serve the entire athletic complex; to replace heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; to the extent funds are available, complete other repairs and improvements to the existing facilities of the District; and issue general obligation bonds for the payment thereof?

If this proposition is approved, the adjusted debt service levy of the School District is estimated to remain unchanged at $1.0966 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of real and personal property.

Hollister R-V School District – QUESTION #2

Shall the Board of Education of Hollister R-V School District of Taney County, Missouri be authorized to increase the operating property tax levy by $0.17 per $100 assessed valuation for operating expenses of the District, including increasing compensation for employees in order to attract and retain quality faculty and staff?

If this question is approved, the operating tax levy of the District is expected to increase from $3.4673 to $3.6373 per $100 of assessed valuation, and the District expects to make a corresponding reduction to its debt service property tax levy of  $0.17, resulting in the estimated overall property tax levy of  the District to remain unchanged at $4.2880 per $100 of assessed valuation.

Shall the Village of McCord Bend Missouri be authorized to impose a sales tax at the rate of two and one half percent (2.5%) on the receipts from all retail sales with the VIllage which are subject to taxation under Sections 144.01 to 144.525 unclusive RSMo.

Village of McCord Bend – CITY USE TAX ORDINANCE

Shall the Village of McCord Bend impose a local use tax at the same rate as the local sales tax, currently at a rate of two and one half percent (2.5%) provided that, if any local sales tax is repealed, reduce or raised by the same action. A use tax return shall not be required to be filed by the persons whose purchases from out of state vendors do not in total exceed two thousand dollars ($2,000) in any calendar year.
