The Camden County Presiding Commissioner is facing multiple felony charges in connection with allegedly removing a license plate reading camera from U-S Highway 54.
Ike Skelton is charged with stealing, tampering with a service of utility, and obstructing government operations.
Skelton had ben vocally opposed to the cameras.
He has a court appearance in April.
