Candlelight Vigil in Nixa Honors Two Students who Died

It’s been a sad last couple of weeks for the Nixa community following the separate deaths of two students.

Folks in town came together Thursday night for a candlelight vigil honoring those young people.

The solemn event was held outside the Union Hill Church of Christ.

A high school student died two weeks ago, then a junior high student was found dead on campus Tuesday.

Christian County authorities say a preliminary investigation indicates the death of that student was a suicide.
