Charges Filed Against Operators of Circle of Hope Girls Ranch in Humansville

The Missouri Attorney General’s Office has filed more than 100 charges against the owners of the Circle of Hope Girls Ranch in Humansville.

Boyd and Stephanie Householder have been taken into custody and are being held in the Vernon County Jail in Nevada.

They are accused of various crimes of physical and sexual abuse of more than two dozen girls at the ranch.

Accusations went public last year after a social media campaign by a whistleblower found its way into local media outlets.

Attorney General Eric Schmitt is expected to release more details on the investigation during a press conference Wednesday.
