Diggins Installs First Storm Siren Thanks to Donor

A donation has helped the town of Diggins install it’s first storm warning siren.

Webster County Emergency Management Director Russ Douglas says he has wanted to put a siren in Diggins for some time, but the 20 thousand dollar price tag was prohibitive.

Table Rock Alerting Systems donated a refurbished siren and Webster Electric donated the pole and equipment to put the siren in place.
