93.3 KWTO Keeping Watch Over the Ozarks
The American Red Cross is assisting eight people who escaped a burning apartment Thursday morning in Springfield.
Fire crews got to the scene on north Clay, east of the Drury University campus around 3:30 a.m.
The fire started in a unit upstairs, and firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to other apartments.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
