A former assistant principal for Nixa Junior High has been sentenced to charges of receiving and distributing child pornography.
42-year-old Colby Fronterhouse was sentenced Thursday to 12 years in federal prison without the possibility of parole.
Court documents show that Fronterhouse solicited a 13-year-old boy into taking graphic sexual images of himself by posing as a 14-year-old girl.
Fronterhouse used a burner phone and engaged over text message with the victim for over a week, encouraging him to take nude photos of himself in compromising positions, and had sexually explicit text messages conversations with the victim as well.
Investigators were able to track the burner phone to Fronterhouse and discovered that he had used school records to obtain the victim’s contact information.
The case was prosecuted by the Western District of Missouri branch of the Department of Justice.
