Free COVID-19 Testing Thursday in Springfield

A community COVID-19 testing event is underway Thursday in Springfield.

The state says there is no eligibility other than to have a Missouri address.

The event is started at 8 a.m. and will run until 6 p.m. on the parking lot of the old Price Cutter store at 1720 west Grand.

Registration is strongly recommended and you’re asked to do so by clicking on the link associated with each event.

This information must be exactly correct to receive your resulgts.

When you complete registration, you will receive an e-mail with a QR code and booking ID number. You’ll then show the QR code and the booking ID number to the site attendant to proceed with your test.

Once tested, you’ll be notified of your result within four to five days if you have registered for the patient portal.
