Meet The Hosts

Nate Lucas has worked in radio in Springfield for the past five years. A Saint Louis native, his broadcast adventures include stops in Frisco, Texas, and Sydney, Australia. Nate has a passion for politics, sports, and having fun. Production work for CBS Radio, Bud Sports, and KTRS 550 AM led to sports play-by-play opportunities, but he is excited to expand his role on a new show to entertain and inform listeners on their drive home. His “claims to fame” are winning a mall car, sleeping at Busch Stadium following “Game 6” and flying to Boston to watch the Blues clinch their first Stanley Cup Championship.

Johnny Roe is a real estate investor in Springfield, Missouri and after graduating from Missouri State University has gained experience with the Springfield Cardinals, Tesla, Sporting KC, and Keller Williams Realty. Johnny is an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, and still keeps score at home for every Royals ballgame. He and his wife, Emily, enjoy the challenge of identifying real estate projects and turning them into modern, livable homes. His local business and sales background, plus knowledge of the daily news cycle will add a compelling voice to Springfield’s Happy Hour.

Jenny James enters the Springfield radio market after a stint with the Missouri State athletics department. While completing her undergrad at Northwest State University, Jenny worked at the radio and television stations on campus and served as the sideline reporter for the Bearcats football broadcasts. Jenny grew up in a small town north of Kansas City, Missouri and is a big Chiefs fan. She will bring a fresh perspective and powerful female voice to keep Nate and Johnny in line.
