The KWTO Honor Flight of the Ozarks Radiothon, sponsored by Henry’s Towing, is underway and runs through 6 p.m. Friday on 93-3 and A-M 560 KWTO.
We’re asking for your donations to help send our veterans to Washington D.C. by calling the Honor Flight of the Ozarks Phone Bank at 417-865-0969.
All of the money raised during the radiothon is used for the Honor Flight of the Ozarks as they fly our heroes to Washington, where veterans from the World War II, Korea and Vietnam war eras visit numerous memorials and Arlington National Cemetery.
Honor Flight of the Ozarks made its first flight in May, 2014, with 63 veterans, 63 guardians, staff and medical personnel on board a chartered aircraft.
On May 10th, 2022, Honor Flight of the Ozarks completed its 17th Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., bringing a total of 2,250 veterans having participated on our Honor Flights.
Honor Flight of the Ozarks is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit charity, with all contributions tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Honor Flight of the Ozarks is an all-volunteer organization. Approximately 99% of the money raised is directly used to support the veterans’ flights.
Want to donate early? Thank you!
Throughout the day, you’ll hear from the men and women who have experienced an Honor Flight, how it has changed their life and why it’s so important we continue to send as many of our heroes as we can.
