The Springfield-Greene County Health Department has received another shipment of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Health Director Clay Goddard says that supply will be used to finish vaccinating people in Phase 1-A, which includes front line health care workers and firefighters.
That process should wrap up this week.
When the next shipment arrives, Goddard says those doses will go to first responders, people 65 and older, and folks with certain chronic health conditions.
High risk groups should reach out to their health care provider about getting the shots.
Goddard spoke at Tuesday’s Springfield City Council luncheon.
