Lawsuit over Arkansas Senate Race Ballot Error

Arkansas Senate Candidate Jake Bequette has filed a lawsuit against two Arkansas Counties after they listed his name incorrectly on the Republican primary election ballot.

With early voting underway already, the two counties in question listed his name as “Jack” instead of “Jake”. Bequette requested a judge to order state and local election officials to fix the error on Craighead County ballots, with plans to add Phillips County.

Bequette is challenging GOP incumbent Senator John Boozman.
