As Missouri State University students head back to class this week, many of them will be getting tested for COVID-19.
In fact, it’s required for students who live on campus.
So far, more than 1,600 students have been tested, with 16 of those tests coming back positive for the virus.
Students who do test positive can either go home until they recover or stay in alternate housing.
The university had more than 140 positive cases of the coronavirus at the start of the fall semester in August.
