The National Weather Service has cancelled the Winter Weather Advisory for areas along and south of I-44.
Meteorologists say while light snowfall continued late Thursday morning in parts of the Ozarks, warming air and road temperatures will limit travel impacts.
The advisory had been originally scheduled to go until 3 p.m.
Some areas along Highway 60 east of Springfield got around one inch of snow on the ground Thursday morning, including Diggins and Hartville.
We had a report of 1.5 inches of snow in Marshfield and Cassville, and one inch in Stella down in McDonald County.
Must roadways across southwest Missouri are just wet as road temps have been well above freezing.
