A Springfield man is dead after a one-car accident Saturday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 66-year-old Keith Czarniak was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Corvette on Highway H about six miles south of Chadwick when he drove off the right side of the roadway.
Czarniak was not wearing a seatbelt, and was thrown from the vehicle as it bounced off the road. He died at the scene.
He is the 103rd traffic fatality for Troop D in 2020.
