Residents Allowed to Return to Their Homes After a Gas Leak Forced Part of Lebanon to be Evacuated

Lebanon firefighters evacuated part of the city Wednesday evening as a precaution following a gas leak.

The leak happened along Washington Avenue between Bland Avenue and Spiller Street.

Summit Natural Gas worked through the evening to identify the leak and get it repaired.

Residents were allowed back in their homes around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday.
