The mother of a missing woman also disappeared fourteen years ago.
Cassidy Rainwater’s mother, Tracey Wahwassuck went missing in 2007.
Her remains were found scattered in a field near Laclede County in 2008.
There was no cause of death released and no one has been arrested.
Laclede County Coroner Steve Murrell says he does not believe there is a connection between the disappearance of Cassidy Rainwater and her mother.
He also says this is still an open case.
These old cases should be opened and the evidence made public. Obviously the cops can’t solve it.
