Rogersville Man Pleads Guilty to Charges Including Child Exploitation

57-year-old Roy Harris was sentenced to 30 years in prison for charges of sexual exploitation of a child, illegal possession of a firearm and investment fraud.

The prison sentence came down Wednesday, which also comes with an order of restitution for the money he swindled his clients out of, which approached a million dollars.

Harris was handed 19 charges of illegal possession of a firearm, and when investigators searched his home, they found images of a minor under the age of 16 that were sexual in nature.

Further investigation showed Harris had engaged in sexual activity with the victim.

Harris’ 30 year prison sentence is to be served concurrently without the eligibility of a parole.
