Schools Shut Down Across the Ozarks Monday

Nearly every school in the Ozarks is shut down Monday.

Springfield Public Schools, Missouri State University, and many public school districts already had Monday off for Presidents’ Day, while many others have shut down altogether. Some schools are doing virtual learning.

Drury University has closed all of its campuses in the Ozarks for Monday, and the university is asking students to check Moodle for directions from instructors.

Evangel University has cancelled day and evening classes and closed its offices.

Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar is doing a “remote day,” with classes held online and employees working remotely.
