Seasonal Influenza Numbers Way Down in Missouri and in Greene County

If you have the flu this winter, consider yourself in rare company.

Statewide influenza numbers are down significantly this season.

By this time a year ago, more than 27,000 Missourians had been diagnosed with seasonal influenza.

This year, that number is just over 1,000.

The trend is similar for Springfield and Greene County, with health department leaders reporting only 46 cases to date this winter.
