We have big changes with the weather for your Friday, with snow moving into the Springfield metro area by late morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for much of the Ozarks until 9 p.m.
This includes all but our southern counties and areas along the I-49 corridor west of Springfield.
Forecasters say anywhere from one to two inches are possible, with accumulations primarily on the grass and elevated surfaces, such as bridges and overpasses.
Some parts of central Missouri could see three to four inches of snow.
Add to that winds gusting from 30 to 45 miles per hour, with some gusts as high as 50 miles per hour Friday morning and afternoon.
That will reduce visibilities at times and create blowing snow.
A wind advisory is in effect until 6:00 p.m. Friday.
