Springfield City Leaders And Health Department Address Mask Extension

A day after Springfield City Council extended the city’s masking ordinance through April 9th, Mayor Ken McClure and others are joining Springfield-Greene County Health Director Clay Goddard Tuesday morning to review the requirements of the measure.

The briefing will also review social distancing requirements and occupancy restrictions in the city limits.

The only real change in the masking ordinance allows you to be exempt from wearing a face covering if you’re participating in a baptism ceremony or while photographs of the baptism are being taken.
