93.3 KWTO Keeping Watch Over the Ozarks
The Springfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in connection with an assault that took place in Grant Beach Park on Friday.
Police say a man was severely beaten on Friday afternoon inside Grant Beach Park. The man was beaten so severely that he is in serious condition at an area hospital and he is unable to communicate with police about the incident.
Police say they believe two men were involved in the assault, but they have no witnesses.
SPD is asking anyone with information about the assault to contact the department at 864-1810.
