The Springfield Police Department is warning people of a scam involving a caller impersonating a police officer.
In a Facebook post, Springfield Police say the caller is using the name of an actual Springfield Police officer and demands money.
They have had reports from people as far away as Texas receiving these calls.
Springfield Police are warning people not to fall for it.
