The state of Missouri saw an outpouring of voters at the polls Tuesday, and several statewide offices now have a Republican vs. Democrat race to look to in November.

In the race for Missouri Lieutenant Governor, Republican Dave Wasinger won the nomination, defeating Holly Rehder and Springfield-native Lincoln Hough, while Richard Brown won the Democrat nomination over Anastasia Syes.

Missouri’s next Secretary of State will come down to Denny Hoskins and Barbara Phifer, who won the Republican and Democrat nominations respectively on Tuesday.

Hoskins defeated a loaded field, which included Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller and Dean Plocher, while Phifer defeated Monique Williams and Haley Jacobson.

Missouri State Treasurer Vivek Malek will now defend his seat, after defeating Cody Smith, Andrew Koenig and others to win the Republican nomination. Meanwhile, Mark Osmack ran unopposed on the Democrat side. They will go head-to-head in November.

Missouri Attorney General will come down to current AG Andrew Bailey, who defeated former President Donald Trump’s attorney Will Scharf on the Republican ticket. He will face off against Democrat Elad Jonathan Gross in November.
