Stay Up To Date On Flooded Roads Across the Ozarks

Creeks, streams and low water crossings are becoming flooded in many spots in the Ozarks, with more heavy rain on the way over the next two days.

The National Weather Service says rainfall rates will be enhanced through Friday night, with flash flooding possible through the weekend.

Highway CC west of Fair Grove closed mid morning Friday due to high water at the Little Pomme de Terre River.

We’ve had reports of excessive rain causing the Pomme De Terre River to overtop Greenwood Road in the Northview area and street flooding in Marshfield.

A Flood Warning is in effect for northern Greene County until 9:30 p.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service says as of mid morning, between two and three inches of rain had already fallen, with an additional one to two inches possible through the afternoon.

This includes northwest Springfield, Strafford, Willard, Ash Grove, Fair Grove, Walnut Grove, Glidewell and Ebenezer.

Check roads closed due to flooding with the MoDOT Traveler Information Map.
