The trial for a Webster County man accused of killing his wife and then hiding her body in a freezer for years was delayed on Monday.
Larry Dinwiddie’s attorney couldn’t make it to a scheduled Monday hearing and so the case was postponed until the end of the month.
Dinwiddie is facing charges of second-degree murder, abandoning a corpse, and armed criminal action. He faces life in prison if convicted on all charges.
Detectives say that in a case of domestic violence, Dinwiddie killed his wife Cynthia and placed her body inside a freezer at a Marshfield storage facility. Her body was found when the storage unit was deemed abandoned.
