Unlawful Possession of Firearm Charge In Connection To Fatal Shooting

Springfield Police have arrested a convicted felon on gun charges related to a homicide investigation.

40 year old Deangelo Heard faces a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm charge in connection to the fatal shooting of 19 year old Jaiden Falls in the 300 block of South Scenic Saturday.

Surveillance video showed Heard pointing the gun and police found the magazine from his gun.

Heard admitted in an interview with police that he had been incarcerated.
