24 Years In Prison For Shooting Near Party City

A man has been sentenced to 24 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.

Josue Alvardo-Valenzuela of Springfield entered the plea agreement which led to the dismissal of an armed criminal action charge.

Springfield Police found 28-year-old Jesus Pacheco shot in a Party City parking lot on July 14, 2024, following a confrontation with Valenzuela after leaving a bar.
