Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway has filed a lawsuit against the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) for allegedly violating federal anti-discrimination laws.
The suit claims MSHSAA discriminates based on race and sex by denying a nominee’s eligibility for a leadership role due to their race and gender.
This action follows a whistleblower complaint, reported by Missouri State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick, highlighting the notification sent to the individual regarding their ineligibility.
