Tornado Risk for the Ozarks on Easter Sunday

Following a round of severe storms late Friday night that prompted both Tornado and Severe Thunderstorm warnings in the Ozarks, and another round overnight Sunday morning with more Severe Thunderstorm warnings, the threat for tornadoes increases for Easter Sunday afternoon and early evening.

The National Weather Service says storms on Sunday will be capable of the most significant weather, with large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes, including a few strong tornadoes possible.

Most of the Ozarks is now under a Level 3 “Enhanced Risk” for severe weather on Sunday,
