What We Know: Branson is hoping to make the record books Friday with one giant Santa hat.
The Aquarium at the Boardwalk is attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the largest Santa hat sculpture.
What It Means: The hat will sit atop the aquarium’s 55-foot-tall octopus along Highway 76.
A Guinness World Records official will be there at 10 Friday morning to verify the attempt.
It’s part of the kickoff to Branson’s Ozark Mountain Christmas celebration.
