A man has been charged in a stabbing at a gas station Friday evening.
Court documents say James Dunkins from Springfield is facing charges of first-degree assault and armed criminal action following a stabbing incident at the Fast N Friendly at Chestnut and Main.
The altercation started with an argument over cigarettes before Dunkins allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Dunkins is in Greene County Jail without bond.
