Springfield Police are investigating an attempted smash-and-grab that damaged a well-known sandwich shop.
Burglars attempted to steal an A-T-M from the Sub Shop on Seminole Street around 4 AM Tuesday morning by backing a truck into the shop.
They were unable to take the A-T-M.
The perpetrators were caught on camera.
The owner says he hopes to reopen the shop by the end of the week.
