Authorities Arrest Miller County Suspect Accused of Biting Man’s Ear Off

Camden County Deputies have announced the arrest of a man accused of assaulting a man, including biting part of his ear off.

Police arrested Ryan Pierce of Miller County Tuesday at a home in Linn Creek after a call came in saying a person was on the property who wasn’t supposed to be.

Pierce is charged with first-degree assault, third-degree assault and first-degree burglary stemming from an attack in late April. According to reports, Pierce bit off the lower part of a man’s ear, which will cause permanent disfiguration of the victim’s ear.

The victims eyes had also been bruised so severely that one eye was completely swollen shut.

Bond has been set in Pierce’s case for $150,000.
