Police say they have arrested a suspect they believe robbed a local business in Vernon County.
38-year-old Jeffery Carter is charged with second-degree burglary, stealing, and second-degree property damage.
Authorities believe Carter robbed a business in the Deerfield area, taking several items from the store after breaking a window to get inside.
When police arrived at the scene, they got a description of the stolen items from a store owner. They later located Carter, who had items on his person that fit the description of the items stolen.
He is being held on a $25,000 bond.
