A Greene County judge sentenced Elysha Bedell for the November 2023 murder of Chaviz Nguyen and shooting of his pregnant girlfriend.
The sentence includes life without parole for First-Degree Murder, 15 years for each Armed Criminal Action charge, and life for all Unlawful Use of a Weapon charges, all to be served consecutively.
Bedell was convicted in December 2025.
A motion for a new trial by his attorney was denied by the judge.
