Blunt and Hawley Denounce Student Loan Forgiveness

Missouri’s two US Senators are criticizing President Biden on his student loan forgiveness plan.

Senators Roy Blunt and Josh Hawley made statements Wednesday condemning the decision the president made to forgive ten-thousand dollars in debt for anyone with student loans making under 125-thousand dollars per year.

Blunt calls the move “a handout” while Hawley says it is “unfair to millions.”
