Cabool Community Foundation President Karl Janson says organizers expect more than a thousand people, with plenty of vendors and barbecue competitors.
Homecoming will also bring former students back to town, with several class reunions planned.
Farm Fest puts the focus on agriculture, with area students competing in hands-on events involving skills they could one day use on their own farms.
About 40 miles west, Seymour is celebrating its apple-growing history with the annual Apple Festival.
So whether you’re looking for barbecue, farm competitions, a hometown reunion, or a little apple festival fun, there’s plenty happening in the Ozarks this weekend.
