Child Tax Credits Legislation Moves Forward For Now

For the second year in a row now, the fate of a bill to create new child care tax credits is in the hands of a faction of the Missouri Senate Republicans.

Designed to help improve access and affordability of child care, the package of child care tax credits has received bipartisan and was the first bill approved by the House this session.

The Legislative ends on Friday at 6pm, and reports from inside the capital say the chances of getting the bill passed through the senate exist, but are slim.
