City council members have approved a rezoning request for around 12 acres of land located northeast of W. Sunshine and Moore Rd.
The property’s designation was changed from County General Commercial to Highway Commercial, following its annexation last month.
The Planning and Zoning Commission had previously approved the plan unanimously before sending it to the city council for final approval.
The development will sit across from the new Sunshine Towne Center and Target store.
