In an attempt to allow more Springfield voters to get to the polls on Tuesday, City Utilities will be offering free bus fare.
CU officials said earlier this week that all fixed routes and Access Express services will be running without charge as a way to continue supporting civic engagement and all citizens right to vote.
City Utilities Transit Center is also doubling as a general polling location on Tuesday as well, and will be open for voters to cast their ballot from 6:00am-7:00pm.
