Multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms will move through the Ozarks from Saturday afternoon through Saturday night.
What we Know: These storms will have a damaging straight line wind threat, particularly with the storms moving through Saturday evening into late Saturday night, with wind gusts of 70 to 80 miles per hour possible.
What About a Threat For Tornadoes? The National Weather Service says a few tornadoes will be possible Saturday afternoon through the night-time hours.
Which Areas Will Get Severe Weather: Severe thunderstorms are possible area-wide, but the highest confidence for bad weather is along and north of Highway 60.
Other Weather Threats: In addition to severe weather, flash flooding is a concern, with a Flood Watch in effect for all of southwest Missouri through Sunday morning. Widespread rain amounts of 2-4 inches are possible, with locally higher amounts.
