Democrat Leadership Speaks Against the Largest Tax Cut in State History

Missouri’s Governor, Mike Parson, has signed the largest tax cut in state history this morning in Jefferson City.

It has been the top priority for the Governor in his special session call. He says that the extra money will help families purchase groceries and gasoline and deal with inflation.

House Democratic leader Crystal Quade sees it differently, saying the Missouri Department of social services’ children’s division employees are underpaid and overworked. Quade says that one DSS employee sells his plasma to pay the bills.
