What We Know: A driver is under arrest after police say a car ran a red light, crashed into another vehicle and then took off in Springfield.
What It Means: Police responded around 1:20 Sunday morning near Chestnut and Grant.
Officers say a Dodge Charger ran a red light and hit a Toyota Prius. The people inside the Charger then allegedly ran from the scene.
What’s Next: Police found them after a short foot pursuit and arrested the driver of the Charger.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
