MoDOT says the weather prevented a damage inspection.
MoDOT says motorists should use a different route until the bridge can be reopened.
Original Story: A section of U-S 60 is closed after a dump truck stuck a bridge east of Springfield Tuesday evening.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department says the Highway “J” bridge, near Rogersville, was struck by a dump truck.
The impact knocked the dump truck bed off the truck’s frame.
The bridge and the Westbound lanes of U-S 60 will be closed until a safety investigation can be completed.
