What We Know: Federal agents and local law enforcement officers were busy early Tuesday at a north Springfield smoke shop as part of an ongoing investigation.
A spokeswoman with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says agents executed three federally authorized search warrants at Wicked Superstore, located at 425 E. Kearney St.
What It Means: The operation included assistance from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the Springfield Police Department.
Details about the investigation remain limited.
What’s Next: Investigators say the warrants are tied to a continuing federal case and that the ATF cannot provide additional information at this time.
