The Springfield Fire Department battled a fire at the Lexington Apartments.
Crews responded to the scene around 7:30 PM Tuesday night.
The fire originated on the first floor and vented through the second floor to the roof.
All residents were evacuated safely with no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
